The ScanShell®1000B is an Optical CharacterRecognition (OCR) scanner and is an ideal portable scanning solution. Thisflatbed passport scanner enables users to scan and read a wide variety ofsecured documents such asdriverlicense, passports and ID cards. The ScanShell®1000B offers color (24 bit), grayscale (8 bit), black and white, and filter infrared spectrum inks scanningcapability.

The scanning areaof the ScanShell®1000Bis 5in x 3.3in (12.7cm x 7.62cm) and only weighs 567g (20oz) making thisscanner a perfect solution for a variety of places such as hotels, bars andclubs and liquor stores.
