You are buying a used but in excellent physical and working condition, Palo Alto Cloudgenix 2000 (rebranded Lanner FW-7525D*) network appliancethat has been reloaded with a fresh installation of the latest version of pfSense (if you prefer OPNsenseleave a message during checkout).
It is powered by a quad core Atom C2558 CPUclocked at 2.4 GHz and it comes with 8GB of RAM (upgraded from 4GB) and a 128GB SSD. It has six Gigabit Ethernet ports. I configured the Controller port (white cable in pictures) as the WANand the remaining ports as members of the same LAN (Switch configuration).
The pfSense configuration page can be accessed at 192.168.10.1, credentials are admin/Passw0rd (root/Passw0rd for OPNsense). In case you need console access baud rate is set at 115200.
As you can see from the pictures this device had no trouble hitting the maximum speed of 1Gb. Since it has no fans or other moving parts it is also absolutely quiet. Combine that with it\'s small footprint (7\" x 6\") andlow power requirements it is ideal for the home or small office.
