It offers 48 native ports of 1GbE/10GbE/25GbE alongside 8 ports of 40GbE or 100GbE uplink connectivity, delivering very low 1.5:1 oversubscription from access to aggregation. Hardware-based MACsec AES-256 encryption secures point-to-point links without a performance penalty, and the switch supports EVPN-VXLAN architectures as a leaf switch in modern data center fabrics — including deployment as a centrally-routed or edge-routed gateway alongside QFX10000 Series spine switches. This TAA-compliant SKU is well suited for U.S. government and public sector procurement, and includes the Right-to-Use (RTU) license for Standard Junos features. This unit is new, sold in an open box, with front-to-back airflow.
