Overall measurements are 16 1/2“ x 11“ x 35 1/2“. This measurement includes handles, wheels, outer pockets, flaps, etc.. With the fully extended handle height is 35 1/2 inches. the handle extends 12 3/4 inches above the bag. Height of the bag without the handle handle extended is approximately 23 inches.
The interior of this bag has an extra storage pocket as large as the suitcase itself inside the front, it has a small zippered pouch attached at the center of the bag. The lining in the base of this luggage has a zipper covering the hardware necessary for the handle that easily pulls up and slides back down when not in use. On the outside exterior front of the bag there are two pockets. One is approximately 12 x 13”. It has a latch that snaps for a tight secure storage compartment. The smaller outer pocket on the top side has two interior pockets to hold a cell phone wallet things of that nature. It also has credit card storage slots to hold four cards and two pen holders. All four wheels roll without resistance . There is an open framed window on the backside for ID luggage tag, it is mounted on the bonus zippered pocket. when the luggage is open the interior depth of the main compartment is 8 inches . Holding more than that of course when the cover lid is on it and zipped. Lots of storage with this classic southwestern luggage. It is in very good shape, for a slightly used vintage travel accessory. I have taken many photos always let those be your guide as with anything typical to this age will generally show signs of loving use. A very slight pleasant aroma at interior of the bag is present at times.
It is pleasant and I would guess it is cosmetic or cologne based. The scent becomes more faint every time I handle this bag. I bought it not long ago as part of an estate buyout.
It opens and shuts as it should, the Silvertone and black handle is also in fantastic shape.
