Attention:
*TF/SD Card Slot is used to connect micro SD / SD / SDHC / SDXC memory card. The SD card and TF card cannot be used simultaneously. It must be inserted first and read.
* The USB-C port is design for charging only.
* The current output of the new MacBook is around 1.5A. When the current exceeds 1.5 A., the computer will start the Self-Protection function. Disable the prompt (current overload)when pop up and restart your laptop and connect the PD before plugin any other port.
Questions and answers:
1. Display problem for Macbook:For operating system laptops (Apple laptop), the non-mirror mode only supports 2 double (mirror) external monitors due to Apple system restrictions. However, your laptop screen may have a different image than 2 external monitors.
2.HDMI or VGA problem:A. Make sure the type C power connector on your laptop is a USB 3.1 type C (Gen2) or Thunderbolt 3 connector (supports PD charging). B. Check your HDMI cable. C. Make sure that the USB C-Hub has sufficient power.
3. Connect the power adapter to the USB-C power connector before connecting an external hard drive or multiple devices to the hub. The power connection is not supported if the adapter current is over 100W.
4. Resolution problem:If you connect VGA, the resolution of all monitors is limited to 1920 x 1080 at a maximum of 60Hz. If you connect 2 monitors, the screen resolution of the monitor below 1920 x 1080 may be 60 Hz (depending on the monitor and bandwidth).
5.If the HDMI or VGA monitors go blackfor 2 to 4 seconds and then recover, this is normal. It is an EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) communication process in which the screen can be locked for a few seconds. The recovery time depends on the laptop and monitor (maximum 1 minute).
