This laptop began life as a Dell Chromebook that was then flashed with a custom BIOS and loaded with latest version of Kali Linux (currently 2023.2a). The result is a lightweight, super portable machine that makes a great inexpensive travel computer. Very discrete, it looks like a simple Chromebook. Would be great for pen testing or use it as a practice machine to break into. All drivers have been loaded and the bugs worked out; the laptops function as expected (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Webcam, Trackpad, etc. all tested). The speakers and microphone do not work due to a firmware issues. The top row shortcut keys function as normal function keys but could be remapped as you see fit.
The Intel N4000 processor has a base clock of 1.10GHz for lower power consumption when idle, and boost/overclock frequency of 2.60GHz for higher processing power when needed.
The screen is in good condition with no cracks on the glass, however there are dents in the plastic that creates pits. These form from contact with the plam rest over time (see highlighted photos). Plastic case show light cosmetic scratches. The battery holds a charge for several hours and the computer ships with a 45W USB-C charger
