Avaya IPO 500 Phone 8 (Analog Ports)This card is used to add analog phone extension ports to the IP500 control unit. It is available in two variantsproviding either 2 or 8 analog extension ports.The cards have 8 RJ45 extension ports (1 to 8) for use with analog phone devices. A further 4 RJ45 ports (9 to 12) are provided for trunk connections when an IP500 trunk daughter card is fitted to this card.Provides either 8 or 2 analog phone ports depending on card variant:ÀÂSupports ICLID modes DTMFADTMFCDTMFDFSK and UK20.ÀÂREN 2 (1 for external bell device).ÀÂOff-Hook current: 25mA.ÀÂRing Voltage: 40V.ÀÂThe Analog Phone 8 provides a power fail port when fitted with an IP500 Analog Trunk daughter card. During power failure extension port 8 is connected to the analog trunk port 12.ÀÂIntended for connection to two-wire analog phonesthe ports do not include a ringing capacitor. For connection to 4-wire analog phonesconnection should be via a master socket with ringing capacitors.
