Up for sale is a vintage Cyber Acoustic CA-3050/CA-3060 model set of PC speakers.
This set of speakers has developed a bit of yellowing on it, and just about all of the cords have some slight cuts on them with some sections of exposed braided wire, both on the audio connections themselves as well as on the included AC adapter as well.
The main sub-woofer box has some very slight separation along the edges of its surface... I\'m assuming this must be some kind of white stick-on vinyl veneer-like sheet material that\'s lost its adhesive.Despite these cosmetic blemishes and/or defects, the speakers still managed when I last tested them; which was several years ago... they have been in storage ever since and I currently don\'t have the time to test them out. What I do recall, however, is that there would be a hum when the unit was turned on, which I can only assume must have been due to the exposed wire on the adapter or some other component that may have needed to be replaced.
I\'m sure that this unit can be easily restored with a third party AC adapter and some replacement audio cables, or the existing cables can be repaired using electrical tape or some heat shrink tubing in order to prevent any further unwanted short outs from happening.
Once again, please note that these speakers are being sold in as-is/untested/for parts or repair condition and may require some technical know how to restore it back to working order if need be. All the components, as far as the AC Adapter, left and right speaker, subwoofer and hookup cables are included.
