Up for sale is an Advantech/Riverbed Steelhead Firewall appliance that has been preloaded with OPNsense® software. This server/router/firewall has been tested and is ready for use, and features 6 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, all of which are Intel-based.
The specifications of this appliance are as follows:
- Intel Pentium Gladden Processor @ 2.0 GHz (Dual Core processor with AES-NI support)
- 4 GB DDR3 RAM
- 320GB hard drive
- 2 USB 2.0 Ports
- Serial console port (configured to 9600/8/n/1)
- 6x Gigabit Ethernet ports (all Intel-based and front accessible)
By default, the LAN and WAN interfaces will be configured on the ports as labeled:
-LAN: LAN0_0/igb0 (Port #3)
-WAN: WAN0_0/igb1 (Port #4)
The system is previously used and tested to work properly. The item you will receive will be as pictured. I will include a power cord and power adapter with your purchase.
Note that this device is not fanless and makes noise during operation. The fans start out very loud, but will slow down to a slower speed after the appliance has been powered on and booted up for a while. Because of this, it may not be suitable for all environments.
Standard shipping will be via UPS Ground or USPS package services, at my discretion. Depending on your shipping location, this may or may not ship in original packaging to reduce shipping cost when free shipping is chosen.
